Under Dr. Quinn McFrederick in Dr. Ulrich G. Mueller's lab. -Researching what microbes are doing inside the nests of wild bees, concentrating on Lactobacillus.-Creating and manipulating artificial brood chambers while determining how the bacterial and fungal communities are affected by the treatments, plus recording health of the bees.

-managing ~$7000/semester for all lab finances, overseeing progress of research, recruitment & hiring, data, grant writing, writing International Review Board proposals, and extensive overhaul of lab website -research involving motivation, human decision making, and categorization via Matlab programs -concentrating on 5-HTT, anxiety, and decision-making.

-cognitive neuroscience research focusing on motivation, attention, and decision making -assist graduate students in data collection, scheduling participants, and carrying out experiments -assisted in various MRI projects used in examining categorical learning

-focusing on learning and memory epigenetics research in Drosophila directly under Dr. Sukant Kurana -running heat shock experiments on Drosophila larva, fly transfers, extractions, and test fly mutants -worked with four person group for epigenetics project for long term project of mapping fly larva brain
