• Provide 24 hour emergency assistance to all Thomas Cook customers both in destination and in the UK• Lead on logistical requirements for customers including the required stakeholder management for implementation• Monitor and manage potential and actual critical events in all destinations featured by Thomas Cook and related brands• Provide support for victims and families in the event of sensitive welfare cases• Assist Police and Government services with investigations, relating to customers of Thomas Cook• Gather and cascade all relevant information to appropriate business leads• Manage costs where appropriate without compromising customer service or safety• Prepare and distribute Thomas Cook UK and Group status updates to the appropriate senior stakeholders• Provision of accurate and timely incident reports• Protect the welfare of employees and customers in destination in the event of a crisis• Coaching and developing new starters helping with calls and system knowledge• Manage a team of people on a daily basis and in the event of a crisis• Delegating workload efficiently to ensure emails and calls are being answered in a timely manner• Resolve high level complaints • Provide out of hours Press Office and Security support
