From entertainment to education, journalism to filmmaking, I work across a multiplicity of mediums. Known for my enthusiasm, originality and adaptability, I strive to create innovation, integrity, and excellence in every endeavor. My film work has recently won a string of awards, while my work as a TV host has won a devoted group of fans and admirers. Currently I'm working on a number of short films, and brewing up some new collaborative film and TV projects. I've worked as a screenwriter, director, filmmaker, performer, TV Host, event designer and composer. I worked extensively in the downtown NYC theatre scene, working with artists such as Julie Taymor (Lion King, Across The Universe) and Michael McCormick (Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Return of the Jedi). Since 2009 I have been a guest artist, puppeteer, writer and performer with artistic sensation Meow Wolf, creating original installations and performances for the House of Eternal Return as well as independent MW projects.A member of SPJ, I've written for Art News, Adobe Airstream and the Santa Fe New Mexican, as well working as a script doctor and ghostwriter for independent film and TV. I am the driving force behind the independent film and theatre company the Human Beast Box and the creator the episodic musical puppet series ‘The Love That Would Not Die’. My specialties cover a lot of ground and include: journalism (writer, interviewer); management, in particular startup organizations with a focus of collaboration and equity; writing/editing with a focus on novels and screenplays; live performance; film making, especially directing and editing; PR and marketing; and finally, renewable energy with a focus on photovoltaics, AVs and EVs. As an instructor I've taught film, performance, puppetry and performance workshops with Meow Wolf, MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), Surrel's Place, the Albuquerque Museum, Jim Henson exhibition, and NMSA (New Mexico School for the Arts).I initially studied dance, later studying puppetry with Emmy-award winner Tim Giugni, touring globally. In NY I performed in venues such as the Bowery Poetry Club, Joe’s Pub and the Public Theatre, and co-organized and founded the NYC International Clown Theatre Festival. I've worked extensively with social justice theatre groups as well, including Bread and Puppet and Wise Foool, NM.
