I grew up in Maryland but have been in North Carolina for seven years for my education. My education includes a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's in business administration in the healthcare management concentration. Currently, I am a fourth-year pharmacy student on APPEs at Atrium Health Cabarrus in the Student Scholars Program.I knew I wanted to go to pharmacy school in high school after shadowing a local pharmacist. I fell in love with the interactions and the capabilities to positively impact community members by being the most accessible healthcare provider. Therefore, my passions include connecting with patients and mentoring other student pharmacists in their journeys to finding their pharmacy careers.My current interests are ambulatory care and geriatrics in pharmacy. My future plan is to complete a pharmacy residency program to obtain a CPP license.
