• Worked alongside labels such as EMI and Decca Records in assisting with their artist project recharges. Including but not limited to A&R, Marketing and Commercial recharges. I was also in charge of approving the labels month end journals before posting as well as any other finance related ad-hoc label tasks. A key part of my role was maintaining relationships with all the individual teams within the labels. • Daily use of SAP for artist project overviews. Including but not limited to the management of project line-item coding.• Daily reviewal and approval of all EMI related expenses, purchase orders, invoices and requisitions which included the coding of the above.• Actioned general ad-hoc requests sent by subsidiary labels and customers.• Drove physical product sales through management of credit customers allowances whilst maintaining an overdue debt percentage of just 5.7% amongst physical product and cash customers. The above led UMG to their most successful Record Store Day sales to date.• Actioned the innitial preparation of the company wide daily sales files as well as the reviewal and approval of the up to date files before they were sent to the wider business.• Managed and prepared internal price-line set ups for new releases.• Managed the accounts receivable ledgers for physical product and cash customers. Including chasing of outstanding debt and liaising with customers.• Weekly reviewal and approval of all consignment billing.• Led and tested the customer portal upgrades through liaising with the IT team that oversaw the developments. I was also in charge of approving all new customer accounts via our portal.• Assisted in the setup of training files for new starters through the creation of ‘how to’ videos, step-by-step process flow documents as well as any other relevant material.
