Devon is a board certified general surgeon with nearly 2 decades of experience in the medical field. Growing up in a farming community, he has a key interest in the way the medical system is failing the Latino community, and underserved populations at large. With the digital health industry taking off at the beginning of Covid, the gap the underserved face was looking to widen, as tech startups continued to focus on the upper middle class "Amazon Prime" customer. Devon made a bold career decision, leaving clinical medicine to build a company that would deliver culturally appropriate digital care to the very underserved Latino population.
