I have spent 12 years working in the Aerospace Industry. I began my career in Pre-Preg Composites, where I obtained skills in Lean Six Sigma, product testing, and quality auditing. I then moved on to become a Lead Hydraulic Inspector, primarily Inspecting Hydraulic and Mechanical assemblies, as well as detail machined parts. In this role I was able to gain versatile quality skills in investigations, material segregation, and First Article Inspection. Using this experience, I was able to obtain a position as Quality Leader for the Functional Test Inspection team on Boeing's P8 Poseidon Program, overseeing as many as 20 inspectors. I also spent time on the aircraft In-service quality team, where I investigated quality failures and non-conformance's on delivered aircraft. In my final role at Boeing, I worked as an Engineering Specialist in Packaging & Logistics, managing multiple projects relating to conveyances and the systems used to track and transport aircraft products. I currently hold an Associates of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and am working towards my Bachelors of Science in Space Studies with a focus in Astronomy and Planetary Sciences. I also hold a Professional Certificate in Systems Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
