Achieving physical and emotional resilience and increasing quality of life is the heart of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. It was this profound concept that invited me to be involved in this field of work. I believe that it is truly essential to value my patients’ goals and quality of life as much as my own, in doing so, results are reflected through growth, vitality and a feeling of wellbeing. I have extensive experience in prenatal care and possess the skills and knowledge to assist my patients through all stages of pregnancy: physically, emotionally and spiritually. As my skills and passion grew, so did my interests, which has led me to become involved in pediatric massage. I am a certified Infant Massage Instructor and was also a practitioner involved in the Pediatric Integrative Medicine (PIM) Trial at the Stollery Childrens Hospital which was the first of its kind to offer complementary health services to hospitalized children. As I followed my path, I found myself being continually drawn toward women’s health, reproductive medicine and musculoskeletal rehabilitative care. Like the entire Meridian Health team, I appreciate the value of setting high standards. Although I am graduated, my education has not come to an end. I am continually working on fine tuning my acupuncture and massage therapy skills in the fields of fertility, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as musculoskeletal pain and imbalances.
