Enforcement Officer for The Magistrates' Court Division within the Ministry of Justice, my Job tasks were as follows: Checking files, handling court fee payments and using problem solving hubs gained via Lidbury Training. Handling counter enquiries (face to face), written and telephone enquiries, preparing papers and files for Court, tribunals, hearings and meetings. General photocopying and filing, creating and updating records on in-house computer system, post opening and dispatch. My role also encompassed booking, preparing and organising meeting rooms, supporting training courses and other group activities.

My role was effectively handling enquiries,(such as counter and Ushering duties) both face to face and over the phone. Typing Court Orders from Circuit and District Judges and Bailiffs.Liasing with and supporting internalised departments, such as the Family and Bankruptcy Section. My job role and a key responsibility, also incorporated the Training of new entrants and individuals seeking work experience on the principles of employment with The Court Service. Completion of Family Proceedings Part 1 AND Part 2,Equal Opportunities and Diversity and Awareness Courses.

As a Project Worker, my role was sometimes challenging and key in helping young people with their needs. The environment I was working in contributed to life-changing results for young people. My patience and listening skills coupled with my drive and ambition for our young people, assisted them with the required steps to fulfill their potential.This was done through support and supervision at the unit and in the community. Key working sessions were implemented and reports were recorded daily in the log diary. My role also included assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc). It was gratifying to create such positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect, which I believed contributed to the development of my team.
