I am a Computer Science Undergraduate Student at North Carolina State University. Computer Science caught my interest as a major because growing up I was obsessed with technology. Not only using it, but trying to find out how it works. That is how I discovered my love for programming. The idea of writing lines of code that do tasks just tickles something in my mind. In high school, a friend of mine told me about a group he joined at the college our school was connected to called the Intelligent Systems Laboratory. It was a computer science research group focused around artificial intelligence and machine learning. He recommended me and before I knew it I was working on projects that made me think outside of the box and expanded my knowledge of programming greatly.As a undergrad, I work with the Games2Learn lab at NC State on research focused around the effectiveness of pair programming within video games. I research past studies on other game-based research, prepare the needed environments and methods of testing, and try to get people to participate in our studies. This work excites me because I get to work on not only programming and computer science, but also video games which is a passion and hobby of mine.As for accomplishments, I am a Pack Promise Scholar at NC State. I have been on the semester Dean's list at NC State. I was on the Dean's list for every year I took classes at Fayetteville State University while still in high school.
