International AffairsCurrently administer ~120 grant awards across 11 grant programs valued at ~$25 million (USD) annually. Responsible for business and compliance review; financial analysis; and full life-cycle award processing.Previously worked on the Combating Wildlife Trafficking (CWT) and Central Africa Regional programs for 5 years, bringing programs from <10% to ~50% administrative and financial compliance within 6 months and the CWT program to full compliance within another 12 months.Collaborate and coordinate daily with NGO partners across 5 continents, 80 countries, US Embassies, USAID, Department of State, and Department of Commerce on international compliance requirements.Written and contributed to policies on remote monitoring and site visit prioritization; financial monitoring; payments; and closeouts.Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives.Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, system enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.Mentor graduate students and fellows in early career planning and self development.Coach early- to mid-career administrative professionals in customer service, written communication, and planning for effective gatherings (e.g. meetings, panels, workshops).
