My responsibilities include picking up a dog from their respective homes, following specific instructions during the walk to ensure the dog's safety and comfort, giving the dog's some exercise time and much needed attention, as well as cleaning up after the dog when their business is done. After my time with them is over, I'll bring them back to their apartment, give them water and clean up any mess that was brought in from the walk. I'll send the owners pictures of their dogs from the walk to make sure they know the dog is happy and in good hands, and I'll keep them updated with everything that happened during the walk.

I would be responsible for bringing each of my tables a fresh bottle of water and glasses, taking drink/food orders, running the drinks/food, and clearing any empty plates/glasses they had, as well as checking in with them throughout their meal, and cleaning their table after they paid their bill. As a barback, I would ensure that the drink wells were stocked, I would wash and polish drink glasses, and make the occasional drink/handle a customer’s tab. In both aspects, I maintained a social and focused work attitude.

My responsibilities were to support the associates in the sales department by setting up guest tours of the facilities, and controlling the sales associate rotation wheel, to assign the associates, then releasing them once their tours were over. I also kept the office supplies stocked, and sent out detailed reports of the business throughout the day.

During the spring semester of my senior year at UMass, I worked around 25 hours a week as a line cook, preparing food for primarily delivery orders. My responsibilities included keeping the fridges stocked, maintaining a clean and clear kitchen, and sweeping/mopping/taking out garbages at the end of the shift. It was a very fast-paced work environment where I had to stay on my feet, and multitask.
