While on shift, I have to Greet customers, take customers' orders, and prepare and serve high-quality beverages.

This volunteer position at our local food pantry proved to be rewarding and at times challenging. On Saturday mornings throughout the year, and 1-2 days during the week, I was able to assist low income families, and disadvantaged individuals, grocery shop and fill basic needs through donated goods. As an assistant, I would guide them through the various products while they chose what would best meet their needs. During the week, we would re-stock shelves, rotate inventory and plan for the upcoming weekend.

While I was in this role, I had to communicate with customers as well as tend to various needs throughout the store, work with new staff and help them settle into their new job, as well as restock shelves. (Crew Member in Curbside Department)
