I sit at the producers pod and help the producers with their shows. I write stories and deliver the rundowns to anyone who needs them for the show. I have gone out with a photographer many times and have helped gather information for the stories. I have conducted interviews for the weekend shows when out with the photographer.I have even been taught how to use the camera and shoot footage for stories. When I get back to the station, I load the files into the system and help edit the show.

I facilitate campus tours to potential students and their families. I also help the office get things done when necessary. I also call applied students about the next step in the process and to let them know of upcoming events for admissions. During big events, I help guests to where they should be going, give tours, greet the guests, and anything else that needs to be done.

I stocked the shelves with product from the back room for the customers to buy. I also unloaded the truck when it came to deliver our order.

I worked at the assignment desk twice a week and helped with the daily work. I answered phones and recorded all the information the tipster would give me. I put the information into the system for everyone to see. I would also call local police stations and see what was going on that we didn't catch on the police scanners. I would also listen to the police scanners.

I called alumni to see how they have been doing since they graduated. I updated their information and I asked them if they would like to make a donation to the telefund to help the university out. I made a connection with them more than anything.
