Joining Mia Dolci as an Operations Manager. At Mia Dolci I oversaw the facilities and day to day running of operations. Mia is a 350sm wholesale production kitchen with a small 20sm retail attached to the front. At Mia I would run the office management, this including running the finances using xero. Managing a daily profit and loss sheet and having an understanding for financial budgets. Daily invoices, daily payments for suppliers and bills, staff payroll, superannuation payments, supplier ordering and marketing. Overseeing the social media accounts and daily publishing of marketing material. At Mia we undertook the process of HACCAP training to ensure the wholesale kitchen could produce to larger suppliers across Sydney. This included the start of a long training process and understanding health and safety of food standards with nsw government. I was also in change of a small team on the front shop, ensuring the daily business would run and provide profit for the wholesale kitchen.

I joined David jones a well-known retail company, as an assistant manager for the beauty division. I have worked with David jones throughout the pandemic period, running as a dark store. This meant we would work for the ISF team, picking and packing and helping the online team strive, throughout one of the hardest times to hit the industry. Once the store reopened, I had been working for the beauty division, managing up to 60 women and men. My role entails managing the team, hitting weekly/ daily budgets and ensure the beauty division runs smoothly. This job has challenged me in many ways, and I have learnt many new skills across the board.
