With over 10 years experience as a business professional, staff development specialist, instructional designer & adult trainer. I currently work independently on projects and with a team to maintain the ongoing management and development of educational resources for seven existing programs simultaneously. Through the development of project plans and working directly with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), training managers, tech writers, learning management system (LMS) coordinators and application leads; I ensure deliverables are efficient and completed on time. In addition to instructional design principles and adult learning theories, I also ensure the deliverables are aligned with the online system functionality (technical concepts are deciphered for the clients), policy, budget, and certification requirements. I prepare and collaborate with other facilitators to train clients, by creating and conducting train-the-trainer sessions that include hands-on activities. As an Instructional Designer, I also serve as a point of contact for facilitators and system developers.
