•Assist General Counsel with agency representation at all administrative hearings, prepare case briefs, and assist with the development of agency arguments•Analyze and interpret all administrative findings of fact and conclusions of law to identify new administrative precedent that would impact future agency determinations•Apply agency policy, administrative precedent, and state law to all claims for compensation to ensure a proper determination is made on every claim•Analyze and interpret necessary statutory, regulatory, and legal materials applicable to the Division•Prepare legislative agendas to maintain compliance with state and or federal legislation as well as best practices in the area of victim compensation •Prepare documents for and lead advisory meetings with the Executive Director, General Counsel, and Division Director•Manage the financial aspects of the Violent Crime Compensation Fund to include grant management and submitting reports to the federal Office of Violent Crime•Draft and disseminate all determination letters to victims and track documentation for potential administrative appeals, and follow up with General Counsel on administrative appeals processes •Develop and maintain an updated Victims Compensation Manual•Manage the daily operations of the Victims Compensation Division, including Violent Crime compensation and Sexual Assault claims•Train and oversee Victim Compensation staff

As a Project Manager I completed a multitude of tasks to include development of proposals for service requests, FDA and sponsor audits, monitoring daily operations, and developing and presenting reports to upper management.

In this position I was responsible for the proper identification of air and missile defense threats throughout the European and Israeli theaters. I was charged with training, manangement of 6 subordinate soldiers. During my career I held several supplementary positions to include Battalion Training NCOIC, Battalion TCS NCOIC, and Battery Level marksmanship training.
