I was responsible for overall operation and performance of the branch including sales, maintaining service excellence and ensuring branch is compliant with ANZ's policies and procedures. Enhancing the customer experience and delivering exceptional growth results across the key dimensions of quality sales activity, revenue, productivity and branch profit. I was a successful Branch Manager who exceeded performance expectations by leading a team of eight direct reports. During my time as a Leader I’ve had the privilege of empowering and supporting staff members to achieve what was thought to be impossible by having courageous conversations, clear communication, shared clarity and respect. I was able to turn a non performing business into one of the most successful in the region by developing my staff member’s capabilities and increasing the branch’s home loan growth portfolio. It gives me great fulfilment knowing I have developed some of my direct reports to achieve their goals by moving into higher roles. Furthermore, I was given the opportunity to facilitate the Queensland regional management development program which encourages and supports upcoming branch managers.
