I have been aspiring to be a teacher for roughly half my life. At the early age of 15 I knew that teaching was the profession I wished to enter into and where I could make an impact and difference in this world. I have the unique experience of being a second generation teacher as the son of a school counselor, my father, and and expert in early years education, my mother. Through their guidance and growing up in a household that had a strong teacher presence I was able to learn and retain various skills that have helped me already become a better teacher in my young career. I have a good understanding of childhood development as well as strong classroom management skills.I started volunteering and expanding my understanding of the educational field as early as a could and worked as a Teaching Assistant before branching out and developing a better understanding of students with special needs. My endeavors have also taken me into classrooms ranging from Pre-kindergarten to grade 12 where I am able to adapt and engage students of various ages and cultural backgrounds.I have acquired a unique understanding of some students needs for freedom, extra support or just simply experienced guidance as they journey through their learning experiences. We all have unique needs and I endeavor to understand my students needs so I can best help them succeed in their experiences.
