Leading the youth workforce development programming at Maine Youth Action Network. The highlight of this work is the Gateway to Opportunity (G2O) program, a 6-week workforce learning program where young people are paid in the workplace to develop their 21st century skills, social emotional learning, and share their wisdom while completing a community impact project. By engaging in the program's youth-adult partnership model, participating host sites develop and expand the tools to build and maintain more youth-friendly workplaces for the emerging workforce in Maine.

Envision and build SARSSM's newest department. The Hope and Healing Program seeks to increase survivor resilience and aid in trauma recovery through a robust and innovative set of offerings that foster hope, healing, empowerment, and peer connection. The program consistent and ongoing opportunities for peer connection and survivor leadership, including traditional and cultural support groups, experiential groups (yoga, art, writing, etc.), survivor-focused events. All offerings are driven by survivor feedback and requests, and remain especially attentive to the needs of survivors from underrepresented communities.

Coordinate sexual violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sex trafficking prevention programming on all three of USM's campuses as well as digital spaces. Trainings and events switch the focus from what not to do, to shifting cultural norms and building stronger and safer communities together. With a goal of making events and trainings fun, I aim have folks get excited to get involved in this community-wide effort.

Managing a team of Prevention Educators and Advocates in the realm of Sexual Assault and Sexual Violence. Our team addresses these issues at any age level, from Kindergarten to adults, with age-appropriate concepts and evidence-informed models. In our presentations and groups we engage a primary prevention model of cultural change, steering away from the all-too-common rhetoric of risk-reduction. Aligning our efforts with the social ecological model of change, we see a reality within which sexual violence will not occur.

TGFT provides financial and educational support for bright young girls and women in Tanzania. TGFT partners with the girls to offer educational sponsorships from secondary school through university, as well as providing educational opportunities when school is not in session, to provide hands-on learning opportunities and to strengthen life skills.I worked directly with the Board Chair and founder to coordinated TGFT's sponsorship programs overseas, including budgets, appeals, grant writing, and general administration tasks. I also spent a great deal of time communicating with the staff in Tanzania to develop educational programs and resources for The Girls Center when schools were not in session.

TYEF provides education, advocacy and support for trans and gender nonconforming youth and their loved ones. During my time with the organization, I coordinated and facilitated quarterly retreats and bimonthly support groups of youth and parents from around the country. I co-created, hosted, and produced a podcast for trans voices and stories. I spent one year as a member of the Advisory Board.

YADA was a student-run project on Bates Campus to engage with high school students in the surrounding towns of Lewiston and Auburn. YADA aimed to promote activism in the younger populations in the area, which struggles with economic hardships as well as racist and xenophobic responses to the growing refugee populations.We developed a curriculum for a group of 12 high school students to increase writing skills while engaging in difficult questions and conversations about their communities. This was a time for folks to come together and learn from each other while making plans to engage in greater action.

AddVerb Productions, an organization that presents social justice theater productions to youth and communities with the aim of prompting action and change, runs a project once called the Queer and Allied Youth Writing Project, now titled the Out & Allied Project. This project collects written submissions ranging from spoken word, monologues, plays, and music for queer youth activism. AddVerb Productions has compiled two anthologies of royalty-free works that can be presented in other communities, complete with resources on how to stage such productions.During my time with AddVerb's project, I was able to collect submissions through outreach efforts, as well as begin to curate and research the framework for the the first anthology.
