An experienced and dedicated Senior Project and Design Architect with over 14 years experience in the construction industry, having worked on a large range of projects within the institutional, healthcare, civic, commercial and residential sectors across my time at both Lyons, BG architecture and now PMDL McGlashan Everist.With a strong established design background and technical construction knowledge, I have always been conscious and motivated on being well-rounded in the profession to ensure I’m proficient and across an entire project’s requirement from the first concept to planning, all the way through to construction. This is evident from my experience and involvement in a various range of successful project typologies, scales and complexities.As part of my time at Lyons as Design Manager and Project Architect I managed to work alongside talented colleagues and consultants to develop successful projects like Monash New Horizons Research Facility, Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment, Yagan Square Civic Centre and University of Newcastle’s NeW Space Building. As Senior Project and Design Architect at BG Architecture, I further broadened my experience to include all aspects of residential, multi-residential and commercial projects and further share my healthcare experience with multiple new Regional YPARC’s and McKellar’s new Mental Health facility. A strong believer in continually challenging myself and others around me by learning but also sharing my expertise and experience with clients and colleagues. I approach each project with the same design rigor, knowledge and collaborative mindset. I have had the pleasure to design and collaborate on multiple successful health facilities, townhouse developments, offices, apartments and student housing to provide the best end result for our clients and end users.I pride myself on my meticulous and measured nature, technical knowledge and ability to problem solve and communicate. Well versed in Sustainable Design, Design Research, Feasibilities, Planning, Documentation and Contract Administration.
