About Devon Peluso, Mba
As a hands-on, trusted manufacturing operations professional, I leverage 21 years of experience across welding, fabrication, and production to lead multimillion-dollar projects and initiatives. Driven to innovate and manage projects as efficiently as possible, I blend deep technical acumen with Lean methodologies to identify and deliver optimal processes. Throughout my career, I have traveled all over the world to establish strong relationships, consult with shipyards, provide quality audits, and deliver fabrication and welding assistance. The knowledge I’ve gained from my global experiences has helped me to solve complex problems swiftly and creatively under demanding timelines, across cultures, and in remote locations.I started my welding career at the age of 14. When most kids were playing, I was building, welding, and fabricating for fun. I took night classes at a local college to learn how to weld safely (mom’s rules!). From the very first class, I was hooked, and I completed every welding class that was offered. Within a year, I landed my first job (GTAW welding aluminum and stainless) and by 16 I was welding using FCAW, SMAW, SAW, and GMAW to build horizontal drilling rigs. By the time I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to continue my education in the welding industry. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science Material Joining Engineer Technology degree and continued to advance as a subject matter expert in the company where I first started working at the age of 16. I excelled as an educated Welding Engineer, Senior Certified Welding Inspector, Certified Welding Educator, Certified Welding Supervisor, and Certified Welder technically. As a lifelong learner and with a strong desire to continue to progress in my career, I went back to school to receive an MBA to expand my business knowledge. I leverage my education, training, and passion to enhance fabrication and welding procedures, improve processes, and to establish strong organizational culture. What I bring to the table:➤ 21+ years: Experience with various welding processes➤ 12+ years: Experience as Production / General Manager➤ 12+ years: Experience as Senior Welding Engineer ➤ 12+ years: Experience as Senior Certified Weld Inspector / Certified Weld Inspector (SCWI/CWI)➤ 6+ years: Experience as Certified Welding Educator (CWE)In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. I still love to build and love that I get to teach my boys how to “fix with daddy”. To learn more, please reach out via LinkedIn messenger or email at: arcowelding@yahoo.com
