I have spent most of my working career so far in the biology field with a biology degree from Gonzaga University. I worked at an animal genetics company and a biological media manufacturing company. During that time, I learned a lot of valuable skills including critical thinking, problem solving, data analysis, and teamwork. In 2021, I decided to leave biology and transition into a career path in cybersecurity. I recently graduated with my degree in cybersecurity and was given the opportunity to intern over summer 2022. I was able to use the knowledge and skills that I learned through my degree and several certifications to see the real impact this career field has on the world. I am currently seeking an entry level role as a Security Analyst or a related position.
