I am a graduate of Purdue University Indianapolis with a completed Bachelor's Degree, dual concentrating in Networking Systems and Information Security. I have worked in customer service for 8 years and have been a manager at Star City Coffee for 4 years. Working on the customer side of business, I often needed to help people figure out what they wanted. This required explaining complex or dull matters more simply in order to decipher what they want. This allowed me to better develop many of my soft skills. I have also worked several internships in high school and college. I performed a wide variety of tasks ranging from laptop repair and troubleshooting to installing various equipment.I developed a passion for the technology field during my Sophomore year of high school, when I built my first computer. After that event, I began looking for further education in the technology field. Junior year of High School I took a vocational class, which grants students real life job training, where I was shown the basics of networking, coding, IT support, and general problem solving and repairs. Senior year I took an advanced class where I was able to intern at four different high schools. Here I began working on security installations, running cable for internet access, assist the school's IT department with laptop repairs and general internet issues, and much more. It was near the middle of my Senior year were I felt a deep love for the field.
