I’m a website engineer with more than a decade of experience building custom CMS experiences. I co-founded and grew Heretic, a branding and web development agency. For 7 years I've acted as Lead Engineer developing dozens of websites from the ground up. I worked closely with content publishers to find and implement solutions for their unique challenges. I developed tailored CMS backends by incorporating intuitive content models, modular page creation, integrated external tools, and custom analytics. I’ve also led discovery and research efforts, collaborated with stakeholders and design teams, developed new workflows to improve efficiency, and conveyed technical requirements to non-technical project members.I have a high level of expertise with Wordpress and proficiency with Shopify, Agility CMS, and Core dna. As a self-taught engineer, I’m comfortable learning new languages, frameworks, and workflows. I’ve been honing my skills with React/Vue.js and Express.js to become a more well-rounded full-stack engineer.
