Hotel Manager at the new acquired Cerulean Hotel, A Running Y Property. Transitioned this property from a Quality Inn. Manage all day to day operations for the hotel. Look for ways to increase occupancy and drive revenues. Oversee all departmental operation. We have put over 100,000 in to improvements for the hotel. As Assistant General Manager I had the wonderful opportunity to open this 120 room new build hotel. I Conducted hiring for staff by conducting job fair. Set up vendors and suppliers for the hotel. Conducted front desk, housekeeping trainings, customer service, and Hilton Honors trainings. Worked closely with construction to coordinate cleaning schedule and achieve open date. Helped to install OS&E (operating supplies and equipment). Managed all aspects of food and beverage, training, breakfast set up, hiring, to Hilton Standards.
