Medical-Surgical Oncology/Urology Unit-Complete Total care and assessment of patients with chronic and acute threatening illness including respiratory failure, myocardial infarction, drug overdose, urological pre/post procedures.-Monitor, record, and report symptoms and detrimental changes in patient status to the appropriate team member-Administer oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications appropriately by using proper patient verification and scanning technique.-Provide post op nursing care for patients after different procedures/surgeries with frequent vital signs, vascular checks, neuro checks, pain checks.-Care for terminally ill/hospice patients and their families by providing physical and emotional support.-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds every shift including RNs, Physicians, Respiratory therapists, nursing assistants, and nursing administration.

-Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.-Ensuring Patient Safety and Fall Prevention.-Communicating with Nursing Staff and reporting any changes in condition or behavior.-Assist patients with meals, toileting, ambulation and diversional activities.
