The Regional Director works to support peer-led groups, promotes diversity, and works closely with volunteers. Job Specific Responsibilities Make contacts with facilities i.e. community mental health centers and V.A. clinics, free healthclinics, physicians’ offices, therapists in private practice, senior living facilities, colleges and universities, schools of nursing, treatment facilities for addictions, pain clinics, churches, and vocational/rehabilitation facilities, etc., and provide information regarding DBSA Distribute educational materials for DBSA at above facilities Responsible for the development and implementation of support groups Act as a resource person to community members and provide links to peer-led groups Attend DBSA trainings for peer support specialists and facilitators Keep records of contacts by phone and face to face, including names, locations, and groupdevelopment, demographic data; and submit this report to the Executive Director monthly. Complete 12 face to face and 5 phone contacts monthly Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Board of Directors
