Retired from Hilton Tucson El Conquistador in May, 2014 and continued to work for various properties in a task force capacity, assisting hotels in their events department when a vacancy occured due to maternity leave or departures from the hotel. Now, with the Delphi fdc program, I am not comfortable with the computer aspect of the job, but I'm still great at site inspections, selling, and upselling and making the important connection between guest and amenities at the hotel. I act as a liaison between the sales person and the customer through the entire event planning process to ensure a successful meeting for both the guest and the hotel. My duties include managing rooming lists, amenities, attrition, group resumes, creating menus with executive chef, updating Delphi for revenue accuracy, detailing event space, audio visual, and menus, and conducting pre and post convention meetings.
