I've been working as an executive and leader in the arts, culture and community development sector for the past ten years. All my creative and professional work is driven by a passion for creating social and political change through making art together. I actively apply principles of intersectional feminism to my collaborative approach and see my role a conduit for community creativity and storytelling. I am a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion.I'm a skilled communicator and I excel in creating meaningful, impactful and long term relationships across sectors and industries. I am a specialist in strategy, community and stakeholder engagement, facilitation, collaboration and partnerships, people and culture. As the Executive Director of Women's Circus (2014-2019), I revitalised the financial and reputational health of the organisation. I acheived this through diversifying income streams, building new audiences and developing strong donor and philanthropic relationships. I spearheaded the development of the Gender Inclusion Policy in 2016 and established their robust Circus Soldiarity Club donor program in 2018. Having completed a successful and high impact 5 years as Executive Director and CEO with Women's Circus, I moved into the role of Creative Producer and Co-CEO at the same organisation in early 2020. Under my guidance and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I sucessfully pivoted the organisation into the digital realm- creating a suite of digital projects and programs. I also secured over $200,000 in funding for Women's Circus since early 2020 and one new public art commmission with Arts Centre Melbourne. I live and steward a 19 acre off grid property in Hepburn Springs, with my three kids, partner,, cat and a lot of kangaroos. I acknowledge I live on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation and pay my respect to their elders past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
