Like most, I started my young adult life at minimum wage. While picking up golf balls and cleaning old carts, I reminded myself that it was all temporary. I couldn’t envision a clear next step. I simply wanted more control, better compensation, and authentic opportunities to challenge myself. After my first year of business school, I vowed to spend my summer doing something different. So, I leaned toward the home service industry, hoping to find a valuable opportunity for my mind and bank account. I created my own business painting houses and, in mere months, pushed myself through a crash course in accounting, time management, and interpersonal communications. I was able to hire my friends, freshen my community, and pay my tuition during school.By September, I had generated $100,000 in revenue, and now, I have supported over fifty students in generating more than $10, 000,000 in revenue; along with thousands of thankful clients. Want to learn how to run a business? Don’t do it behind a textbook. Learn through doing it. Please message me if you think you might be a fit!
