About Devon Tiemann, M.S., P.E.

I’m an overhead transmission line engineer who works with EPC transmission and distribution line projects ranging from 13.8kV to 500kV. I enjoy working on complicated projects that require out-of-the-box thinking. I am proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, TOWER, LPile, MFAD, SAG10, and VIBREC. I have experience designing to NESC, GO95, ACSE, IEEE, ACI and AISC codes and standards. I received my education from Texas A&M University of Kingsville graduating with my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Civil Engineering specializing in structural engineering. I wrote my thesis manuscript on developing a analytical model and design procedure for determining the capacity increases of externally bonded carbon fiber reinforced polymer systems on existing reinforced concrete transmission line structures. I proudly work for Dashiell Corporation as a transmission line engineer, where I get to work with engaging and rewarding projects. I also act as the mentorship program leader at the Dashiell Austin office, a role of technical expertise, training, and employee retention.I am a licensed professional engineer in the State of California.
