Devon Vanoostveen is a Global Brand Marketing Manager with Merrell, the world’s leading outdoor footwear brand, and has 10 years of experience with brand growth and strategic storytelling. At Merrell, Devon is responsible for managing integrated global brand strategies, marketing campaigns and go-to-market plans for the lifestyle category and product collaborations. Previous collaboration partners include Jeep, Sweaty Betty, Dime MTL, Reese Cooper, NOAH, and Huckberry. She works cross functionally to research consumer, media, and digital trends to build strong product lines and conceptualize key seasonal stories. Prior to Merrell, Devon worked on the brand marketing and public relations team at Wolverine, the US market share leader in work boots, managing the brand’s collaborations with Metallica Scholars, Old Rip Van Winkle, Rawlings and Ram Trucks to increase awareness of Wolverine brand, make purpose-driven connections with consumers and build key retail relationships. While there, brand purpose activations generated over 10B earned media impressions and the brand donated $2 million dollars to support the next generation of skilled trade workers.Devon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin University with degrees in Organizational Communication and Spanish Language.
