National Business Development AssistantAs National Business Development Assistant, I supported the Vice President for National Business Development and the Director of the Illinois SBDC International Trade Center, Administrator of FTZ #176. In addition to providing client project support, my focus was on managing the administrative and marketing obligations of the Business Attraction Department and the International Trade Center. This included: managing the production of Catalyst, Go Global and Rising Star e-Newsletters; email marketing campaigns and announcements; organization and management of website and Social Media pages for the RAEDC, Go Global, I-39 Logistics Corridor, and Rockford Area Aerospace Cluster. I coordinated efforts for the Rockford Area Aerospace Network, Business Attraction, and I-39 Logistics Corridor Association, along with various national and international economic development programs and events.As the RAEDC is an NFP, I assisted with the development, processing, and tracking of department expenses, and performance measurements for business attraction and international trade. I also assisted with the development and management of organizational databases.
