In 1997 Devona J. Slater started Auditing for Compliance and Education, Inc. (ACE) to fill the need of anesthesia practice management and compliance consulting services. Since then, she and her team have been committed to helping physicians manage the business and operations side of their practices so they can devote more time to doing what they were trained to do - PRACTICE MEDICINE. ACE, Inc. has been specialized in anesthesia and pain management since it's inception and is a strong ally to providers and their staff. Our consultants have performed audits in 49 states and have been exposed to many anomalies over the years. ACE has performed compliance reviews, reimbursement reviews, risk analysis, as well as consultative services for groups under investigation. We have also been selected to fulfill auditing requirements for groups that have been placed under formal CIA governmental agreements. Due to this experience we are regarded as experts in what we do. We strive to ensure fair and correct payment for the services our clients provide and help them avoid litigation and investigation.
