The bulk of my background is in the field of Health and wellness. In 2006, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Humanities, with focuses in Sociology and Psychology at Fort Lewis College. Shortly after, I began my studies at the Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts, in Durango, Colorado. In an over 1000-hour program, I received an extensive, thorough, and expansive training in multiple modalities of massage, body-work, and alternative healing approaches. In 2011 I traveled to Kerala, India, where I completed an internship studying Ayurvedic Medicine at a women’s health clinic. In 2012 I graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California with a M.A. in Integrative Health and through this program became a qualified Integrative Wellness Coach. From 2008-2016 I worked at a high-end day spa and wellness center, SenSpa, where I was able to be in a continual state of learning and teaching. From 2014-2016 I was the Lead Therapist/Treatment Developer/Trainer of the body team. In 2019 I received my Yoga Teacher Certification. From 2017-2021 I was the General Manager of the #1 massage center in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Amara Massage Therapy & Wellness. This position allowed me to capitalize on and refine my organizational and leadership oriented skills.As of late, I have transitioned from working in the field of Wellness/Business Management, in order to pursue my additional passion of working with children with developmental differences. In 2021 I joined the Poudre School District as a Paraprofessional in the Center Based Autism Program.
