As a videographer in the athletics department, I shoot and edit out-of-game content for all sports teams in order to capture the unique personalities and team culture of St. Olaf athletes.

As a college sports manager, I run the team’s official social media accounts, create game day graphics, posters, and video content, organize charity and team bonding events, and take and analyze statistics during practice and games. To accomplish these tasks, I have developed creative skills in applications such as Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Box Out Sports, as well as statistical skills in Excel and Stata.

As a marketing and social media intern for the LA Kings I focused on storytelling in an out-of-game context. I created video projects from start to finish, taking responsibility for the ideation, filming, directing, and editing using Adobe Premier. I worked with development players, alumni, mascot (Bailey), and other Kings personalities to create content and keep our fans entertained throughout the off-season. I also completed research projects on the marketing strategies of other professional teams, mascots, and ice crew accounts and presented the results, along well with my recommendations on ways to get ahead of the competition, to my department throughout the summer.
