DéVon Christopher Johnson is a media entrepreneur and a marketing expert with over 11 years of experience in creating and leading diverse and inclusive multimedia platforms. He is the co-founder of Black Owned Media Equity & Sustainability Institute (BOMESI), a non-profit organization that supports and empowers Black-owned media outlets to thrive and grow. He is also the founder and CEO of BleuLife Media Group, a full-scale media company that speaks to the modern and aspirational multicultural male audience through print, digital, podcasts, events, and influencers.Johnson holds a BA from Seton Hall University and a Master's from Harvard University, both in journalism. He started his career in the music industry, working for major record labels and collaborating with artists like Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Mariah Carey. He then launched his own publication, Bleu Magazine, the aspirational lifestyle magazine for multicultural men, and expanded it into a media empire with a global reach and a mandate of inclusivity and diversity. He is passionate about the importance of print media, especially in communities of color, and advocates for media equity and sustainability.
