As a Business Development Intern at Broadridge I had the unique opportunity to learn about the wealth management industry and the company's role as a global custodian delivering products, services, and technology enabled solutions for Wealth & Asset Management firms and their advisors. I worked closely with the Business Development and Product Development teams, participating in strategy meetings, conducting market research, learning about fintech partnerships, and supporting sales enablement efforts. My intern project was focused on building out an AI-driven user interface to enable sales executives to easily mine information about the top 20 Broadridge strategic partnerships, their depth of integration with Broadridge, and unique value propositions. I also worked on streamlining Broadridge Executive Leadership reporting.I am in my final year at Rider University pursing a degree in Communications and Graphic Design, I anticipate graduating in May 2025 and I am looking to find a role in financial services. I am self-motivated, work well independently and as part of a team. I am a strong communicator, creative problem-solver, enjoy doing research, and presenting ideas and solutions from a unique perspective. My past work experiences at UPS, Battle Ground Country Club, and as a Camp Counselor at Country Roads Day Camp have all exposed me to different work environments, presenting opportunities and challenges that resulted in developing my interpersonal skills, and how I perform as a leader. I pride myself on being versatile, and someone who is able to quickly understand their place on a team and the responsibilities of their role. Coming into a company as a soon-to-be college graduate, I have prioritized connecting with many of my peers across the network and familiarizing myself with the products, business strategies, and types of services that are provided to clients. I hope to secure a position with an industry leading company that is client-centric, and prioritizes creativity, innovation, diversity, employee wellbeing, and will introduce me to valuable industry use cases, knowledge, and skillsets.
