- Manage the Visitor Experience and Visitor Fundraising teams including the direct management of 3 full time and 2 part time managers. This includes setting and monitoring performance objectives, managing performance, mentoring, and creating and championing a values based approach to recruitment to ensure that our staff team is reflective of our diverse audience.- Lead on the visitor facing operation; managing key elements such as the visitor welcome and experience whilst holding overarching management of all visitor facing initiatives taking place onsite.- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create and manage visitor facing activities such as events, exhibitions and school holidays which create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our visitors.- Sit on the site Open for All Committee which ensures that the site continues to grow its inclusivity for all staff and visitors, whilst leading on championing front facing team inclusion within the organisation.- Managing health and safety onsite, as well as keeping up to date with changing legislation and ensuring that our policies reflect these changes.- Creating all visitor facing risk assessments and operating procedures, including the site Safeguarding, Cash Handling and First Aid policies.- Working alongside colleagues from organisations such as CBRE and Wilson James to ensure that our site remains safe to open to staff and visitors each day.- Feed into the annual departmental budget for staff and training costs, alongside advising other internal departments on staffing costs for special projects.- Manage all money handling on site including liaising with Loomis and central Finance colleagues, as well as the direct management of a Cash Office Assistant.
