It is both a powerful branding tool and an amazing feature at events!By leveraging various social media hashtags, we have developed a product that is not only one of the main attractions at any event, but also a huge social media marketing tool as well. People take photos and upload them to Instagram, Twitter, etc., and seconds later they will have a branded Polaroid-like style photo in their hands. I was the main contributor in building a new, better branded, and more functional Partners International Website. This included a new and improved user experience for end users to better connect with Partners International Ministry Partners across the globe. The new experience is now called the Partnership Circle. It allows for users to see updates from the Ministry field directly from the indigenous ministry leaders and their teams.The Partnership Circle was a custom built API that leveraged MailChimp API and Wordpress to successfully function. It involved working primarily in PHP and Javascript, jQuery, and AJAX.www.partnersintl.org

This was a 14-week internship that I spent as part of the engineering team at Crystalfontz. My role was to bring together a collection of applications used to test USB and serial LCD modules into a single, unified application. There were two windows based applications and three Linux based applications that I combined into one main application that tested all 6-8 modules. I worked in C/C++ in MS Visual Studios with win32, libftdi, and EEPROM libraries. I became very familiar with tortoise subversion because of checking in and updating of code in a developer’s environment. The final application was a successful build and is now being used as the command-line tester at Crystalfontz today.
