My duties include: providing support to sales agents, maintaining a working knowledge of life insurance products, minor coding of applications, responding to agent inquiries, assessing life insurance applications, monitoring the progress of life insurance applications, making sure that applications go from being submitted to paid as quickly as possible, maintaining meaningful and effective relationships with my Regional Sales Director's, and coordinating my efforts with other departments within the company.During my time at Midland I've been able to work on developing new Consultant and Specialist training guidelines. The guidelines break down all aspects of training and provide the trainees with an estimated timeline for completion. This helps establish a training foundation which will hopefully streamline the overall training process.

I was responsible for: creating the employee's schedule, opening and closing the store, ordering product, stocking product, vendor relationships, going over sales history, implementing new protocols and procedures, staffing, and communicating with the area supervisor on a regular basis. During my time at Casey's I was able to take an active role in the development of my employees. I was able to assist an associate with gaining a leadership role while helping another work on becoming a Kitchen Manager. Developing my employees and helping to place them in situations to be successful was a fulfilling experience. I was able to participate in multiple store openings after's Casey's acquisition of Stop N Go. This allowed me the opportunity to help some of the newer Casey's Mangers with any problems they were experiencing. I was able to assist with POS issues, daily accounting issues, staffing, and inventory control issues. I was also able to attend a few Town Hall meetings on behalf of Casey's. This was in an effort to connect with the community and stay up to date.

I was able to advance in the company due to my work ethic and would eventually end up leaving to pursue a great opportunity at Casey's General Stores.

I took calls for many different accounts and my duties encompassed sales, troubleshooting, order-taking, plus-selling, cross-selling, maintenance calls, and even signing people up for catalogs. I focused on keeping my call time down, sales high, and giving great customer service. I was tasked with trying to calm down upset customers and saving the sale.
