Lead Communication Officer charged with planning logistics, communications requirements, and management of a travel budget during world wide travel missions. Manages a team of up to 28 network, radio and satellite, COMSEC , and audio visual personnel providing support to the Vice President of the United States. Supervised the installation of multiple network devices and a complex radio infrastructure to provide secure and unsecure communications to the VP, his Senior Staff and the United States Secret Service anywhere in the world. Also coordinated, travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for team members in support of this mission while maintaining an Travel budget.

Provided Secure and Unsecure mobile communications to the President of the United States. This includes radio and satellite communications and the ability to provide 5 minute record message traffic during Presidential motorcades and trip visits. Managed 14 Joint Military Service Members in an 24/7 manned work center. Work center supported basic network and radio structure troubleshooting to restore system outages at the White House Complex.

Provided worldwide communication support to 10,000 customers in support of Defense Intelligence Agency. Duties consisted of planning network Authorized Service Interruptions and development of Standard Operating Procedures for classified and unclassified network operations. Supervised 32 Joint Military Service Members and Contractors in support of 200 WAN circuits that provided voice, data, and VTC communications world wide.

Fort Hood, Texas

Managed a Battalion level network of 6 Node Centers, 1 Large Extension Node, and 26 Small extension nodes that provided voice, data, and VTC communications to customers in an tactical environment. As the Senior Network controller I managed a work center of 10 personnel charged with directing Installation, Maintenance, and Operations of the Battalion's assets to provide the best coverage to the customers. I performed daily update briefs to the Commander on equipment and network statuses. During network outages I was charged with directing all troubleshooting efforts to restore communications to the customers and provide detailed outage reports to higher headquarters.
