Food Media Director
CurrentAs the Food Media Program Director my vision is to prepare students to break into the food media world, setting them up for leadership roles in the future. I envision this to be a multi-faceted program involving daily in-school food media classes, after school workshops and clubs, student-led projects, as well as media integration into our summer programs. I aim to grow our students' understanding of video production, food photography and styling, podcasting, and food writing. Program Lead will also be responsible for bringing in and maintaining relationships with outside food media partners including organizations like the Food Network, Buzzfeed Tasty, VICE Munchies, Bon Appetit, and more. I lead the creation of this brand new program alongside the Food Education Fund team, for leading the actual instruction of the program, and for creating a model that will be impactful, sustainable, and relevant for our students.
