Structural CADD experience included doing foundation and steel design drawings and also detail drawings associated with the designs. As a CAD Designer/Operator I got to work on various projects and sometimes help co-workers out on outside projects. Some of these projects had focuses on foundation layout for new plant buildings and existing build sites. On these projects I was using Autodesk Autocad 2019.Other projects had more focus on the steel columns and beams and other bracing structures within some of the mentioned sites that had foundation layout. On these projects I did work on Autodesk Autocad Steel 2019.As a Structural designer for CDMG I was basically given direction and instruction from lead engineers and or Senior CAD leaders on project workload and projected goals. After that I was expected to carry out the job responsibilities given to me and check my own work, which would later be cross referenced by engineering to assure all design data met proper requirements and standards.

Field Service Inspection team before they were brought out by SIEMENS in 2008.Team responsibilities included going out in the field with an experienced inspection team and doing inspections of various concrete/steel structures.Some of the concrete/steel structure inspections included inspections on:Atmospheric above ground product storage and chemical tanks and their concrete foundations and or enclosures at Clairton USS steel, and other areas around Pennsylvania in distances out as far as Tyrone, PA.Structural steel framing and floor plating inspections at the then Monaca Horsehead corp. zinc plant.Inspections at AK steel on their stainless steel pickling tanks.Other task involved doing Ultrasonic (UT) thickness inspections and structural deterioration data retrieval on structural support steel beams/columns & their concrete foundations. As well as UT inspections and deterioration locating on floor plates-stiffeners and welds associated.Afterwards the team and I were responsible for taking data and sketches retrieved from these concrete/steel inspections and turning the data into reports and working CADD drawings for client review for updating. My inspection at Horsehead Corporation Zinc plant required the team and I to be on site for approx. 9 months.I have had extensive OSHA safety training to work at the sites mentioned.

Job description included creating elevation/plan and any detail drawings of Cell towers, equipment and equipment shelters located on the cell tower sites as well as the concrete foundations that supported the towers or equipment shelters. This work was done for clients in the United States region such as Sprint, AT&T, Nextel, T-Mobil and Verizon wireless.The antenna data associated with these cellular sites had to be valid and kept up to date by the CADD operators & engineers in case of antenna or equipment changes.I also had the opportunity to design from standard spec. data many of the different types of cellular antenna tower structures, such as Monopoles, Self- Support towers, Guyed towers and various antenna roof mounts and equipment stealth enclosures and the structural steel or concrete foundations associated.Other responsibilities included drafting floor plans and elevation drawings of condominiums that were being renovated and sold for this company towards the end of that position. Limited architectural discipline but willing to learn if required.

As a Mechanical Drafter I assisted project engineers in the development of a medical device namely the (Dynabeam)The Dynabeam was a instrument used by the speech impaired allowing the individual using it to communicate by ways of touching on screen buttons that will speak for the person using the equipment. My involvement included the drafting up of multiple detail drawings of the small components that were later to be used in the development of the (Dynabeam)device.

This was my first professional career employment opportunity after becoming a technical school graduate from P.T.I.
