Field Service Inspection team before they were brought out by SIEMENS in 2008.Team responsibilities included going out in the field with an experienced inspection team and doing inspections of various concrete/steel structures.Some of the concrete/steel structure inspections included inspections on:Atmospheric above ground product storage and chemical tanks and their concrete foundations and or enclosures at Clairton USS steel, and other areas around Pennsylvania in distances out as far as Tyrone, PA.Structural steel framing and floor plating inspections at the then Monaca Horsehead corp. zinc plant.Inspections at AK steel on their stainless steel pickling tanks.Other task involved doing Ultrasonic (UT) thickness inspections and structural deterioration data retrieval on structural support steel beams/columns & their concrete foundations. As well as UT inspections and deterioration locating on floor plates-stiffeners and welds associated.Afterwards the team and I were responsible for taking data and sketches retrieved from these concrete/steel inspections and turning the data into reports and working CADD drawings for client review for updating. My inspection at Horsehead Corporation Zinc plant required the team and I to be on site for approx. 9 months.I have had extensive OSHA safety training to work at the sites mentioned. -

This work was done for clients in the United States region such as Sprint, AT&T, Nextel, T-Mobil and Verizon wireless.The antenna data associated with these cellular sites had to be valid and kept up to date by the CADD operators & engineers in case of antenna or equipment changes.I also had the opportunity to design from standard spec. data many of the different types of cellular antenna tower structures, such as Monopoles, Self- Support towers, Guyed towers and various antenna roof mounts and equipment stealth enclosures and the structural steel or concrete foundations associated.Other responsibilities included drafting floor plans and elevation drawings of condominiums that were being renovated and sold for this company towards the end of that position. Limited architectural discipline but willing to learn if required.
