I play a pivotal role in data support for distribution center design and supply chain network optimization client projects. Key responsibilities by data function:1.) Collect/Request:Collaborating with project teams to assess data needs for new client engagements and hosting client calls to evaluate project data needs, availability, and limitations.2.) Transform/Load:Utilizing SQL, Python, and tools like Tableau Prep to transform diverse large datasets into Fortna’s data standards. Importing data into SQL Server databases.3.) Clean/Audit:Investigating data through SQL and BI tools to identify and summarize integrity issues, data gaps, anomalies, and validate with clients that there is alignment with business operations.4.) Analyze:Performing standard and ad hoc analyses to gain insights and drive early project discussions and decisions5.) Visualize:Creating intuitive, interactive visuals in PowerBI (Distribution Design) and Tableau (Network Design) for project teams' analysis.Improve Data Processes:Automating the Data Team’s data pipeline/process for client data, increasing efficiency and quality of data audits and visualization through SQL, VBA, and Python scripts as well as BI templates.

- Led project for the redesign of a high voltage circuit switch.- Designed and built prototypes for mechanical, dielectric, and thermal testing.- Implemented Python’s Matplotlib and Pandas library for analysis and visualization of experimental data.- Improved cost effectiveness of various product components via changes in material, geometry, or thickness.- Interacted with the manufacturing facilities to resolve assembly issues, deviation requests and bill of material errors.
