I am a Manager of Education Programs with an educational background in Sociology and Family Studies from the University of British Columbia and have diverse work experience in the fields of non-profit, events & hospitality, administration and sales. With a passion for education and program management, I strive to facilitate professional and informative programs for educators, students, and journalists across Canada, in addition to providing engaging and timely resources. Due to the nature of the pandemic, these previously in-person programs were transitioned to an online format in 2020, where I had a lead role in transitioning and managing these educational workshops through a new, digital platform. With the implementation of new marketing strategies, increased relationship building and development of new curricula, the attendance and participation at these educational workshops has more than doubled.As I continue to grow within my career and experience, I frequently seek out learning opportunities from colleagues, as well as formal educational opportunities to gain a more robust understanding of my field, and expand my knowledge and perception of the world around me. I look forward to connecting with you!
