Play Black Wall Street's mission is to educate families on the legacy and ideals of Black Wall Street in a fun way through creative and educational experiences. In 2017 we created Black Wall Street the Board Game based on the history of Greenwood and historical figures. Our team offers Black History Courses, Children's Books, and games to celebrate Black History all year. We are available for live/ virtual workshops and speaking engagements.

Umoja, (a Kiswahili word meaning unity) is a community and critical resource dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of African American and other students. We believe that when the voices and histories of students are deliberately and intentionally recognized, the opportunity for self-efficacy emerges and a foundation is formed for academic success. Umoja actively serves and promotes student success for all students through a curriculum and pedagogy responsive to the legacy of the African and African American Diasporas.As the Regional Coordinator, my responsibility is to support the Los Angeles Region Umoja programs across the community college system and build an intentional relationship with the UC system to increase African American Student Enrollment.

Starting as an idea in a college apartment, ReCES is the brainchild of Kevyn and Kristin Lewis. Noticing a lack of hands-on education throughout all levels of school, Kevyn and Kristin set out to provide the learning experience that only hands-on activities can give. We believe that everyone has a place in this world. As the Coordinator of Health and Wellness it is my pleasure to educate the youth on holistic health and ensure the activities at the Resource Center promote good health.

I have one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world. I go to local high schools and middle schools and encourage students to pursue higher education. Along with exposing these students to higher education, my coworkers and I also provide cultural support for the scholars.

As a Sodexo Bakery Delivery Driver my duties are to organize the items that have been ordered by our customers. Once all items are placed appropriately I then deliver the items to their locations in a timely manner.

As an Intramural Official for the sport of flag football my job was to regulate the play of the participant. Flag Football is a non-contact sport so it is important for me to pay close attention to the game to make sure the rule are being followed.

As a McDonald's crew member I was responsible for closing the store. I worked from 9 p.m- 5 a.m. and was responsible for cleaning all of the machines, mopping the floorings, taking orders, and presenting orders to customers.
