DevOpsDays Des Moines is proud to be hosting their second event in May of 2019, see the website for details. Most of the organizers from the first event have returned, with some passionate new faces who are helping plan an event almost double in size. We owe many thanks to our generous sponsors for helping us work towards this milestone!DevOpsDays is a worldwide series of technical conferences that started with a single event in 2009 in Ghent, Belgium. From that first year it grew to a handful of events around the world over the next couple years, until 2013 when it jumped to 18 events with a couple cities hosting alternating spring/summer/fall/winter events and continued to expand slightly through 2015. Suddenly in 2016 the number of events shot to over 40, growing to over 50 in 2017 and by the end of 2018 there were over 70 events held in all corners of the world, and already by March of 2019 there were over 50 events scheduled, with more than a dozen additional events planned and only awaiting date or location confirmations, and 9 more months for communities to coordinate more events and get them added to the devopsdays.org website.DevOpsDays is dedicated to providing an environment where everyone in the devops community can learn and share in respectful, considerate collaboration. In that effort we have a code of conduct that we expect everyone involved with the conference to follow.
