Supervised a staff of 15 Mail Handlers on 3rd shift overnight duty to ensure that mail was properly sorted and routed to it's proper destination.Responsible for the timely and accuracy of loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing mail in the Palatine Post Office on 3rd shift.Coordinated and assembled a staff to ensure the successful operation of sorting machinery and other machinery to sort mail and load packages onto trucks and vans.Worked the Palatine, IL USPS Front Desk to assist customers affix postage, weigh packages and route mail. Managed scheduling of mail handlers, which included vacations, weekly sorting machine operations, assigned trucks for loading and unloading, and also assisted in performance reviews.Responsible for tracking mail by volume and weight from sorting machines as well as truck weight and providing monthly reports to management.
